Critical restoration work is underway.
Work at the Martin Creek tributary combined preservation and restoration efforts to maximize habitat improvements. In addition to preserving several thousand feet of high-quality stream, degraded headwaters were restored with grade control structures—riffles, vanes, and toe-wood—for improved channel stability and habitat function. Ephemeral stream enhancements focused on targeted bank stabilization, meander adjustments, and head cut control.
